9 Spring Wedding Trends for 2017

Now is the time to start looking into decor and flowers for your 2017 spring wedding! We are always researching the latest trends (and suggesting some of our own). Here are some great ideas to inspire your planning!

Pastels

Think pinks, apricots, yellows, light blues, mints, creams, and lavenders. Keep it simple by choosing two pastel colors, or go all out and mix it up with lots of color varieties. Maintaining soft toneseven with multiple colorswill add an elegant chic to your wedding. Plus, pastels give you a perfect excuse to offer plenty of sweets at the reception!

Marsala and Blush

Don’t restrict the deep wine themes to only autumn and winter!  Mix in a little blush and keep the marsala theme flowing all year. Marsala and blush is a great spring combination for garden and mountain weddings.

Greenery

Spring elicits feelings of freshness and new life, so using greenery in spring is always a great idea. Green can also add an earthy charm for a fairy tale wedding. Say yes to eucalyptus garlands, boxwood wreath candle rings, and emeralds.

French Blue and Ivory

French blue and ivory is a romantic and elegant spin on the rustic dusty-blue theme, and is perfect for spring. This color combo is especially ideal for vintage and fairy tale events.

Lavender Garden

Speaking of fairy tale weddings, what if we added a little bit of lavender, a few more flowers, and did it all in an outdoor venue? Wa-lah! We have a stunning garden wedding that attendees will remember forever.  If an outdoor venue isn't an option a cozy greenhouse venue will do just fine, with the added benefit of reduced costs on outdoor decor.

Gold, Pink and Blush

Blush has been a popular wedding color for a while now, but mixing in gold adds an exciting and new angle on an otherwise softer tone.  This is a great spring color scheme if you are looking for a fun, feminine, Kate Spade-inspired theme with a vintage touch.

Peach and Mint

Take a twist on the popular combos of pink/turquoise and coral/mint for a softer—yet still chic and fun—spring wedding theme. If you'd like, use apricot as a substitute for peach in the pairing.

Rustic Neutrals

No specific color is speaking to you? Or perhaps you want to draw attention to a specific element or flower? Go neutral. Neutral colors offer a minimalist approach in rustic-styled weddings and can really add an elegant touch. Add hints of soft colors and white to make some of your feature decor or flowers really pop.

Plums

Rich, dramatic colors aren't only for winter. Mix in some creams or pastels for a festive color scheme that is perfect for a spring wedding and guaranteed to liven up your special day.
